What Makes Us Unique? Our Tech.

LiDAR technology measures distance. Similar to radar (which uses microwaves) and to sonar (which uses sound waves), LiDAR uses light to achieve its purpose. A short laser pulse is fired and reflected back to the sensor by objects in its field of view (FoV). The sensor can then accurately calculate the time-of-flight (ToF) and infer distance using the delay between the emission of the pulse and the moment the reflected light returns to the sensor.
